Each day we have to face various things. When we go out of our houses and on our way to work we have to deal with noise pollution, cars honking, motorcycles honking, neighbours playing loud music. At work we have to deal not only with our irate officemates but with the environment as well. All these can cause a certain degree of stress. For the most part of the day we are always tensed and uptight. All throughout the day we have to face reality. Because of this never ending debacle at the end of the day we end up lethargic. In order to relax at home we might need to do some guided meditation.
The type of meditation that takes you on a journey through a narration is commonly known as guided meditation. A script that is written especially for meditating is usually read during a guided meditation. The script in a guided meditation can either be read or played through a CD. For a guided meditation to work you have to let go of conscious thoughts and let your subconscious take over. Guided meditation can certainly assist you relax and unwind and it can also help you sleep better at night and gain stress reduction.
